Engage in make believe play to begin the development of critical thinking, body awareness and learning to make sense of the world.
-
Building language skills through reading books and telling or acting out stories
Toddler Program Schedule
Our owls are now ready to learn how to follow a daily routine. Our incredible teachers form a routine that works best for their classrooms and toddlers. Below is a sample schedule for our toddler program so you can get an inside peek of how Creative Scholars integrates education into play to keep learning exciting for your child.

Arrival
As children arrive they are warmly welcomed by smiling teachers! They will start their morning with a table activity and breakfast followed by free play while we wait for all our friends to arrive!

Nap
Once our owls are full it is time to rest to prepare for our next adventures of the day. Once nap time is over they will be provided with a healthy snack before heading into our afternoon activities.

Morning Activities
If your little was not here for breakfast, that is okay! We will provide a quick and healthy snack before starting our day. Morning activities include theme based art projects, outside exploration, circle time and teacher directed stations.

Afternoon Activities
Kids will come back for another teacher led theme based activity. We will also head back outside, weather permitting, to play and keep their bodies active and moving.

Lunch
After a busy morning it is lunch time! It is time to wash our hands and help set the table before enjoying a nutritious meal with our friends. We ask that parents provide a healthy well balanced lunch for their child.

Departure
It is clean up time! As children prepare to head home they are given time to explore and play in the activity centers on their own.

Curriculum
You will find our milestone-based curriculum, is designed to specifically meet the developmental needs of our scholars. Children will begin to achieve milestones the four main developmental areas through making art, stacking blocks and reading books. No matter what your child loves to do or where they are at developmentally, we will help them explore their interests as well as find new ones!
01
Cognitive Development
Cognitive development focuses on our scholar's ability to think, and grasp age-appropriate science and math concepts. They will work on activities that encourage counting, sorting, and measuring.
03
Physical Development
We work with your toddler to strengthen their balance and coordination as well as their fine and gross motor skills through stretching, climbing and jumping both indoors and out!
02
Language Development
As your toddler is physically growing, so is their language. Our dedicated teachers work with your child to expand their vocabulary so they are understood as they begin to understand. They will engage in prewriting and prereading teacher directed engaging activites.
04
Social-emotional Development
Our owls are beginning to build stronger relationships with teachers and friends. We use social and emotional skill building tools to help them learn how to process their own feelings and the feelings of others.
